Elizabeth Pack, written 1819, proved 1823

This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Pack of Ashwell in the County of Hertford Widow. First I give and bequeath to Ann Flanders wife of Samuel Flanders of Royston Victualler my Clock [?] and best bedstead and curtains and Corner Cupboard with the articles of Furniture which at the time of my decease shall be usually kept in the said Cupboard Also my two silver Table Spoons my Bureau my best Tea Table and one pair of Sheets Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Jas [?] Waller of Luton in the County of Bedford one feather Bed bolster and pillow and one pair of Sheets Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Ann Dwyer [?] of Luton aforesaid One feather Bed bolster and pillow and one pair of Sheets Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew James Stamford of Bafsingbourn Cambridgeshire all the rest and residue of my Linen Plate Cloathes Household Goods and Furniture for his own use and benefit Also I give and bequeath all my Monies Securities for Money and all the Rest and Residue of my personal Estate whatsoever unto my Executor hereinafter named upon trust after payment of my debts funeral and testamentary Expenses to call in the said principal Money and Residue of my said personal Estate and within twelve Months after my decease to pay apply and divide the principal Money and the Interest then due for the same unto and equally among all my Nephews and Neices the children of my Brothers or Sisters who shall be living at the time of my decease and the Ifsue of such children as shall be then dead leaving ifsue such Ifsue to take equally among them the share of their deceased parent And I direct that my Executor shall not be chargeable for any lofs occas[ione]d by keeping Money out on the Securities in which it shall be invested at my decease or on any other personal Securities any Rule of Law or Equity to the contrary notwithstanding And I appoint Mr John Fordham of Odsey Cambridgeshire Miller sole Executor of this my last Will In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of January One in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Nineteen The Mark and Seal X of Elizabeth Pack Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Elizabeth Pack the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our Names as Witnefses Henry Squire George Pitty


Proved at London 19th August 1823 before the Judge by the Oath of John Fordham the sole Executor to whom administration was granted being first sworn by commifsion duly to administer
