Mary Goodchild, written 1745, proved 1746

I Mary Goodchild of Ashwell Widow in the County of Hertford being weak in body but of sound and Perfect Memory thank be to the Almighty God do make and Ordain this my Last will and testament in manner and form as followeth Item I Give and bequeath unto William Brown my Kinsman one pound to my Kinsman John Goodchild one pound Item I Give to Ann Lemour the Wife of William Lemour Five pound Elizabeth Hankin forty shilling the wife of Edward Hankin I Give to Mary Webb Wife of Thomas Webb ten shilling I Give to Ann Seamor Daughter of William Seamour five shillings I Give to Judy Hankin wife of John Hankin five shilling I Give Ann Lemour younger tow pewter Dishes that was her Grandfather Goodchild and a Dresser that stands in the barn and a white cupboard in the Chamber and My Estate and all the Rest of my Goods I Give and bequeath unto William Chester and Ann his wife my funerall Charges and my Legaceys and Debts being Discharged I do make Williams Chester and his wife Whole Executor and Executrix of this my Last will and testament whereof I do Set my hand and Seal as a Witness to what is above Written the Legaceys are to be paid a year after her Decease
