Will of Richard Bray, 1828

This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Bray of Ashwell in the County of Hertford Shepherd First I desire that all my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expences be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named and subject thereto I give devise and bequeath All and every my Messuages Cottages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever situate lying and being in the Parish of Ashwell aforesaid with their Appurtenances And all other my Estate and Effects whether Real or Personal and of what nature or kind soever the same be unto my dear Wife Mary Bray her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the nature and qualities of the same Estates respectively And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary Bray sole Executrix of this my last Well and Testament And I revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand this thirteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.

Signed published and declared by the said Richard Bray the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto,

Mary Bray the Executrix within named was sworn duly to execute the within Will and that the effects of the deceased are under the value of One Hundred Pounds.
